About Your Dallas Sleep Consultant

 Dallas Sleep Consultant Kaley Medina

My name is Kaley Medina and I am the owner and founder of Live Love Sleep. I am the proud mama of two little cuties, Evalyn and Leo…and my fur baby Fender. I am married to Zeke, the love of my life and high school sweetheart! We moved to Coppell, TX a couple years ago and are loving the Dallas area! And I am honored to be voted the best Dallas Sleep Consultant in Fort Worth, Collins and North Texas counties.

Evalyn was a TERRIBLE sleeper from the day we got home from the hospital. Seriously! She was awake for HOURS on end no matter what I did to try to get her to sleep. Evalyn was awake constantly throughout the night. And the process of actually getting her to sleep was ridiculous! I tried everything!

For example, I would pull out my yoga ball and bounce her until my legs couldn’t take it anymore.

After that, I  would make sure she was in a DEEP sleep before pacing her in her crib, and then ever so slowly, remove one hand at a time while not daring to take a breath in fear that I’d wake her up.

Moreover, there was even the time I put her in the baby carrier while pacing around the living room with the vacuum at midnight to try to soothe her to sleep. Besides the yoga ball, I even tried the rocking her to sleep, the pacifier and the swing.

And that was just to get her to sleep for 45 minutes at a time!

Consequently, I was frazzled, unable to concentrate and tired all the time because of the sleep deprivation. But most importantly, I was unable to fully enjoy my time with my daughter and my husband.

Nodding along?

How Sleep TraininG My Baby changed my life

When Evalyn was 6 months old, a friend referred me to the Sleep Sense program. I was nervous about sleep training because I was adamantly against letting her “cry it out.” So, when I learned of gentler method to teach her how to sleep, I was all in. And to my surprise, my daughter slept all the way through the first time in her life after the first night of sleep training! As a result, both of our lives were changed forever.

My passion became helping parents teach their little ones how to get more sleep due to the incredible success I saw from sleep training my daughter. As a result, I became a Certified Sleep Sense Consultant and founded Live Love Sleep to help moms like me (and their children!) get the sleep they need and deserve.

As your Dallas sleep consultant, I take a look at the entire picture of what is going on in your baby’s life – not just what’s happening in the bedroom. In fact, there are a number of factors that can impact your child’s sleep. These factors include diet, sleep environment, routines and schedule. Likewise,  even developmental milestones can impact your child’s sleep. As your Dallas sleep consultant, I will review all of these factors while creating your child’s sleep plan to SOLVE your sleep problems once and for all!

As one of my former clients put it “I can only describe this experience as utterly LIFE CHANGING!”

Your Dallas Sleep Consultant

I am a Los Angeles, California native but had an amazing childhood getting to grow up all over the world, from Balikpapan, Indonesia to Saskatoon, Canada. As an adult, I have lived all over Texas from Houston to San Antonio and currently reside in the Dallas area. I have my master’s degree from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX.

Since becoming a Certified Sleep Consultant, I have served on the Advisory Board for Sleep Sense and have been featured on NBC 5 DFW. I am truly passionate about helping families in Texas and beyond sleep well.

During my pregnancy, I read up on all the parenting information I could get my hands. However, I read a little bit about baby sleep and thought I was prepared. “Sleep like a baby”, right? I couldn’t have been more wrong!

Let me help you avoid the same mistakes I made. I would love the opportunity to help teach your child how to sleep well.
